Q: Tell us a little about why you decided to become an author:
A: I wanted to get more young readers to enjoy reading again.
Q: How do you overcome writer’s block?
A: I take a break and come back to the book I am working on later or the next day.
Q: Who has been the biggest influence for you as a writer and why?
A: My family. They encourage me to keep moving forward when I want to quit.
Q: Do you have a favorite author and if so, who?
A: Yes. S.D. Perry. She is very talented author who wrote the Resident Evil Series.
Q: What is a usual writing day like for you?
A: I wake up at 5 A.M. and start working on my book. I take breaks to do chores and eat but I get back to writing and stay focuses.
Q: How has your experiences differed from your expectations prior to becoming a published author?
A: I came into this business knowing nothing about the book world. Now I know a lot and I have written 15 books. People are starting to know who I am and that is great!
Q: What has been the hardest thing for you to overcome as an author?
A: Finding the wrong publishing companies. Once you sign with them that is when you know if you belong there or not.
Q: Do you have any regrets as an author?
A: Yes. Finding so many shady publishing companies. I have the worst luck with them.
Q: What do you enjoy doing when you are not writing?
A: Watching T.V. Mostly wrestling during the week.
Q: If you could go back and give yourself just one piece of advice in regards to writing, what would it be?
A: Keep writing. Don’t give up.
